TURKS & CAICOS TO WELCOME NIKKI BEACH HOTELS
Miami-based Nikki Beach announced Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Turks & Caicos as its newest destination for the branded resort chain. Nikki Beach, in partnership with Leeward Resort Ltd, designed the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Turks & Caicos within a gated 423-acre resort on the northeast tip of the island of Providenciales. The property will comprise a hotel, spa, night club, signature Nikki Beach Club, and eco-friendly marina. The Nikki Beach Club, Marina Club Villas and the Marina will open in March 2008 and the 100 room Nikki Beach Resort & Spa will open in 2009. Other features will include one or two-bedroom Nikki Beach Resort Residence Suites with balcony views and granite kitchen and bathrooms.
The Nikki Beach Resort & Spa also will feature free form pools and sculptured tropical gardens, with its signature Nikki Beach Club providing poolside entertainment, VIP cabanas and casual dining. Modeled after the Nikki Beach Clubs in St. Tropez and St. Barths, the Beach Club will have signature opium beds and bottle service. Leeward's mega yacht marina is scheduled to open in March 2008 with the Nikki Beach Club. It will features facilities such as 15-foot wide concrete floating docks; deep water, 24-hour access, dock space for up to 50 mega yachts, including cruisers up to 200 feet; an on-site Customs and Immigration Services office; and a VIP lounge for crews. All guests of the Leeward Marina will have access to all of the Nikki Beach Resort and Spa amenities and services. The property will also house a 16,000 square foot spa.
