SHERATON OLD SAN JUAN OPENS NEW PALIO RESTAURANT
The new Palio restaurant, set to open Aug. 23, is an authentic Tuscan chop house, set to open at Puerto Rico's Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel. Palio will offer views of the San Juan harbor. Tuscan cuisine is appreciated for its fine natural and flavorful ingredients, reflecting the intimate side of the Italian lifestyle. Its simple, pure cuisine relies on what's best from the land, like rosemary and olive oil. At Palio's, chef specialties and signature items will include homemade lasagna, aged goat cheese spread, a 22-ounce angus beef porterhouse and the featured one-pound filet mignon, and bone in angus beef. Dinner is served seven days a week from 5 to 11 pm. The restaurant is also open daily from 6:30 am to 11:30 am offering a breakfast buffet and a la carte menu. From noon to 3 pm, lunch includes selections from the menu or daily buffet. On Saturday and Sunday, lunch is extended until 5 pm.
